F1 Test 3 at Jerez – The Rain in Spain falls mainly on the Pl…, err, Jerez Circuit


It’s going to be wet at Jerez again. Big piles of boo!

The BBC 5-day forecast is currently predicting heavy rain Wednesday all the way through to Saturday at Jerez which is a damn shame as it means we’re probably not going to get much further useful information about which team is doing best?

However, we are going to see the first running of the new Lotus F1 team. Even in the rain, that is going to be very cool to see.

Oh, and if you are interested in what it is like to drive round the Jerez circuit, then have a look at the great Ayrton Senna doing a qualifying lap 20 years ago. Note: since this time, they have added the Senna chicane at the second to last right hander.
